Blütenglanz Team

Martina Pfister
Owner of Blütenglanz GmbH
Florist (EFZ) & Wedding Planner
My name is Martina, and I own Blütenglanz GmbH. Since 2011, I've been working in my favorite profession as a florist. Actually, for me, it's not really work; you could say it's a part of my life, just like being a devoted mother to my son Nik (born in 2018), who supports me every day in the wonderful work I get to create.
In 2011, I completed my three-year apprenticeship as a florist (EFZ) in Eastern Switzerland. In 2012, I won the Jungflor award as the best young florist in Switzerland. Afterward, I worked as a florist for several years before taking the plunge into self-employment in 2014 and opening my shop at Gwattstrasse 2 in Thun. And yes, it was simply a fantastic decision. I look forward to creating wonderful new arrangements every day and delighting my dear and loyal customers.
In 2021, I decided to transform Blütenglanz into the Blütenglanz Workshop so I could once again be there personally for my wonderful customers. This meant fewer employees and shorter opening hours. A brilliant idea that I really should have thought of sooner :) But yes, you live and learn. Since the workload doesn't decrease year after year :), in 2024 I decided to close the shop on Gwattstrasse and continue working as a freelance florist. This allows me to fully pursue my passion: wedding planning. So, you can also book me as a wedding planner.
And if I'm not in the studio or working on something, you can probably find me in the wonderful Swiss mountains (likely collecting flowers :), or on a via ferrata, or perhaps we'll meet on a bike ride around Lake Thun.

Nik
CEO
Currently in second grade... I hope he can write well soon, then he can answer my emails :)
Nik, the little boss.
He likes things colorful and loves McDonald's, which he sometimes uses to blackmail me, true to the motto "if we go to McDonald's, I'll be nice during the consultation," and yes, unfortunately I sometimes have to give in :)
He's often found at work and occasionally even helps with wedding deliveries. For these occasions, he secretly gets out some cologne and dresses up – you never know when you might run into the bride.
She happily helps with the heavy lifting for real men, and if you're wondering why there are holes in some of the wooden posts, that's because the little one was at it with the drill. Yes, it can happen that Mommy's things suffer.
And when we finally have a day off or have earned an early finish, we like to tear around the pump track on our bikes or hike up the Augstmatthorn together and enjoy a fondue. We complain every time we hike up, but once we reach the top, we're especially happy to have made it.

Lara Kuslys
Temporary worker
Lara, my fairy godmother for everything. She always pitches in full force when she has time and loves decorating weddings or giving workshops. Working days with her are always special and we definitely never get bored.
She's always in a good mood, except when you give her taper candles that don't fit so well in candlesticks. She really doesn't like that, and you can see it from a mile away :)
And Nik is also very happy every time Lara comes, and has long wanted to be taught some tricks on the ice by Lara.

Sandra Caspar
Temporary worker
When it comes to getting things done, my dear Sandra is always there, and I know she gives 200% every time. It's admirable how she manages to juggle her three kids, her job, her husband, and everything else! Even though our collaborations are always short and perfectly timed, I always look forward to our meetings. Sandra loves creating the perfect floral arrangements for your wedding, and you'll often find her at a pre-wedding workshop as well.
